The Great Belt Fixed Link is a 4 lane toll freeway and you can pay toll in different ways. You can pay by cash or credit card and you can buy a digital unit called bropas which automatically registrates your passings and withdraws the toll from your credit card. Using a brobizz saves 5 % of the toll fee.
Fording the Great Belt Fixed Link holds you entitled to discounts on more than 10,000 hotels, attractions and expositions throughout Denmark. Attractions such as Tivoli, Lego Land, Copenhagen Zoo and other main attractions in Denmark provides up to 20 % price reduction on visitors presenting a price reciept from the Great Belt Fixed Link.
Also hotels like the Radisson hotel chain, several hundred inn’s and other sorts of accomodation provides 20 % rebate on your stay in Denmark.
Travelling in Denmark
Denmark is a small land on top of the European continent, covering just 43.000 square km. Denmark has more than 8.000 km of seashore as Denmark is made up of the Jutland Peninsula and the important islands of Funen and Sealand.
Travelling in Denmark has always involved ferryboats in one way or other, but since 1998 it has been possible to cross the Great Belt by the Great Belt Fixed Link. The Fixed Connection between Funen and Sealand comprises the Eastside Bridge, a 6,790 meter suspension bridge from Sealand to Sprogoe and an 6,600 m long bridgework between Sprogoe and Funen.
