Synthetic and Human Hair Wigs for those in Need

We never imagined the sparkling Amelia Sinclair, my life-long soul mate, would accessorize with lace front wigs. Her signature long black hair added so much to her femininity. Get this. She will be eternally celebrated because of her attitude. Not many in town can tell she compensates for medical hair loss with human hair wigs. It’s not so unusual.

Back in the day as youths finding our way in our home town of Scottsdale, we once took turns winning Miss “SCH” four years running. Then her medical hair loss reared its head and her hair thinned spottily. I recommended some human hair wigs. Oh well, it didn’t matter much. What a strong soul, she proudly unveiled her attitude.

Attending our university’s homecoming, we flirted with the crowd until a guy on other team purposefully kicked the orb (or that thing they use) towards the fans. Quick on her feet, she reached out for the thing and her hand-knitted “head sweater” (her idea) fell off, uncovering her hair (or lack thereof). No big deal, she tossed the ball right back at him. She’s that kind of girl.

But, everyone has insecurities. Months later she invited me over for a cookie baking marathon, where she looked me in the eye and confided that she would rather do without hair out of anger. She could never spend money on beautiful wigs, secretly acknowledging she wanted one. She then miss invincible stopped talking and begged that I shouldn’t concern myself with it. I didn’t know what to say.

I wanted to help so bad. That night, I called about taking care of this wig problem. Finally the two of us arrived at the only logical action: we’d buy each other wigs So I’m getting one too!

Not sure who was more bewildered by how natural they looked. She never knew that synthetic wigs were so professionally crafted for people, even superstars. These synthetic wigs brought out her youthful spirit. As for me, pieced together a delightfully contemporary set of outfits to go with my synthetic wig. Its become an inside joke, you know. Last Christmas she gave me a photo of us in our wigs and thanked me for giving her back her hair, and explained it fosters a new attitude that she’d forgotten. It’s touching to witness my best friend rediscover the sassy, feminine girl I remember. Friends can do anything!
