Weight-Lifting Benefits All

Almost everyone should lift weights. Weight lifting strengthens bones, muscles ligaments and tendons; increases coordination for tasks requiring strength; and gives confidence and mobility to elderly or disabled people.

Just exercising doesn’t do much to strengthen muscles. If it did, marathon runners would have the largest muscles. To become strong, you have to exercise your muscles against progressively greater resistance.

Just exercising doesn’t strengthen bones either. Female marathon runners sometimes stop menstruating and lose tremendous amounts of bone, even though they may run more than 100 miles a week. To regain bone, they have to eat more food which will usually start them menstruating again, and include weight-lifting in their workouts. They may also need to take estrogen.

Many people with muscle or nerve diseases can also benefit from lifting weights. They may be unable to work out as long or as hard as a healthy person and they will take longer to recover from their workouts. However, if they stop exercising when their muscles feel heavy or hurt and they take off when their muscles feel sore, they can make dramatic increases in strength.

Anyone starting a weight training program should be guided by an experienced instructor. Exercise with several different machines two or three times a week, never on consecutive days. On each exercise, use the heaviest weight you can lift comfortably eight or ten times in a row without losing your form. Do three sets of ten repetitions on each machine. Then allow at least 48 hours for your muscles to recover. Do not lift again until the soreness is gone.

Mystere, Cirque Du Soleil at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada is a spellbinding theatrical miracle for all ages.

From the minute I took my seat, the pre-show comedic mimicry of Brian Le Petit, the tuxedo dressed clown, alerted me to expect the unexpected. His slightly dangerous antics, irreverent decorum and comedic timing made the arriving audience take their seats and immediately pay attention. When the house lights dimmed and the show began, I could feel my imagination being stretched beyond recognition. The infusion of colors, sounds, lighting and artistic awe inspiring movements awakened my soul to a new life that defied logic or reason.

Mystere’s flawless artistry rocked my understanding of science, art, and anatomy and changed my life forever. For ninety minutes, I sat on the edge of my seat enraptured with the plethora of sounds, the spectacle of human athleticism and the sensual pleasures that emanated from the sheer exuberance of being alive.

Being fully alive in the present moment is one of the most mesmerizing feats of the evening. I didn’t want to forget a movement, a sound or a costume design, but the spectacle was so all encompassing that it swept me away on a journey to the very heart of where my past, present and future merged, and all of my emotions converged.

The gallery of characters that commanded the stage was lovable, outrageous, and artistically stunning! The Clown, was like the child who breaks a toy to see how it works. His innocent mischief made the evening light and funny. The BABY, made us laugh with his disproportionate size, childish need for attention, and innocently dangerous curiosity. Moha-Samedi, the pink master of ceremonies and his puppet represented the accumulated knowledge of humanity since the beginning of time. He was the colorful fool who bears witness to the past and present while creating nothing. Red Bird was brilliant in appearance and acrobatic skills snapped up the energy of the show like sparks that fly in the wind. There are the Pets, birds who have forgotten how to fly, the Asticots, with their double faces that keep them hidden from the truth, the Giants, a gentle frivolous group of futile feathers and long legs, Stas, a mischievous imp, a thousand years old. And the Ancient Bird who’s joy of remembrance fills her movements with surprise and displays the mystery of memory.

These characters combined the artistic disciplines of gymnastics, dance, visual poetry, music, mime, and comedy with flawless timing and dramatic impact. My eyes opened wide as Paul Bowler took center stage and soared with passion and deep concentration as he stretched my understanding of the universe. He effortlessly turned and spun a neon lit cube while nonchalantly performing a gravity-defying ballet of breathtaking aerial moves. My stomach did flip flops as I wondered who was in control . . . the cube or the artist? It was a mystery.

The Chinese poles pushed the limits of human strength and anatomical form. This art form originated in China. The Cirque du Soleil troupe uses both men and women (which is unusual for this art form because in China women don’t perform on Chinese Poles). This gravity-defying act features two principal performers from China, who are life-long students of this discipline. They, along with twenty members of the colorful troupe slither and spring from pole to pole using only arm and leg power. Great upper body control and balance are essential. Their agility was awe-inspiring. Their double-faced masks created a stunning visual.

Then the lighting changed and before me appeared two brothers who performed a hand and body balancing act that is done on a rotating dome. The incredible exhibition of strength and stamina demanded impeccable precision and alignment as well as strength. Their two bodies moved as one as their maneuvers demonstrated perfect harmony. I sat amazed watching these two mighty physiques connected in gentile, fluid movements exuding a sensuality that captivated the entire audience as they applauded with appreciation.

When the applause died down and the lighting grew brighter, the Bungee aerialists appeared mysteriously before us. They were like majestic birds in flight as they flew through the air fearlessly in unison, creating a fantastically organized chaos. As they dropped from their trapezes in turn or as a group, they were stopped only by the elastic around their waist, I watched bewitchingly spellbound. This aerial ballet is comprised of six performers, who spring and spin high above the crowd. The Bungee performers rely on great upper-body strength and pinpoint precision to synchronize this “ballet without gravity,” another mystery to behold.

The Korean Plank astounded the audience with acrobatic feats and designs of the human pyramids. The performers remain on the teeterboard throughout the various stunts. The amazing mystery of this performance was the added effect that the stage is rotating and the danger of the Korean Plank is evident. The act requires extreme precision, timing, courage and trust, as the spotters play a key role in the routine. Their timing mysteriously never faltered.

The Trampoline and Fast Track was performed by the comic chorus. With their frivolous energy these bouncing characters were always jolly, always laughing. This huge, winged trampoline was unlike any other in the world. The trampoline artists rely on timing, acrobatic ability, and phenomenal spatial awareness to accomplish the intricate movements. I watched how these performers used their bodies to explore the mystery of time, space, and energy.

The Aerial High Bar delighted me with the ecstasy of suspended aerial motion surprise. They used a metal structure with which the fourteen national caliber athletes from Russia, Romania, Canada, and the United States fly and spin 40 feet above the stage.

The adventure in performance reached a dramatic frenzy with the Taiko performance. It was a unique style of drum playing that comes from Japan. The deep rhythmic reverberations from the sounds of the beating drums touched a primitive part of my heart. This ancient Japanese art of drumming awakened in me a need to revel in this mystery that sound creates. The pulsating drums beat a rhythm of new life through every cell in my body.

The performers were astounding but the theatrical experience was mysteriously beyond anything I’d ever experienced because of the unique costumes and phenomenal lighting designs. It was the costume designer’s genius for creating costumes for the fantastic characters that wove the dramatic story of life unfolding and ultimately surviving against all odds. Each costume was expertly created to weave colors, patterns, and fabrics with the aesthetics that enhanced the artists’ movements and th

Yet, it was the lighting designs that influenced my perception the most. The designer set the tone of the stage acts by what Luc Lafortune, Mystere’s Lighting Designer calls, “sculpting spectators”. By reinventing the use of light he was capable of sculpting the emotions and feelings of his audience. He believes it is the “chiaroscuro” that is the lighting designer’s anvil. It was how he was able to create contrasts in hues, angles and beams that draws the focus and transforms a scene from humorous excitement to tragedy. I know because as I watched the play of light on stage I felt my emotions swell with each illuminating color and incandescent shadow.

The musical score provided the show a freedom of expression that reached beyond the stage and conjured memories of a mysterious past. The chorus of voices chanted haunting harmonies that sent chills down my spine. The rhythmic beat of the drums stirred feelings of unyielding sounds of protection and love. The musical instruments blended melodies of enchantment and fantasy.

Mystere has entertained international audiences of all ages at the spectacular theatre in Treasure Island for the last ten years. It is a success story of great magnitude but above all it is a story of a remarkable bond between the performers and the audience. For at the end of the day it is the audience who sparks the creative passions of the show with their love for mystery, artistry, and thrilling entertainment. This is the third time I’ve seen Mystere. It’s a show that beckons you to return. It is creative. It is humor. It is spectacle. It is mystery. It is artistry in perpetual motion. It instilled in me a hope that only comes from experiencing great truth and beauty.

A Cabin bed is the perfect bed for nippers, whether it’s a young tiddlers or even a teenager. There are many other styles of cabin bed the primary two being mid & high sleepers, although most cabin beds do have built in storage space. So it is very important you know before hand what needs your bed must satisfy

The two primary types of cabin beds are high sleepers and mid sleepers, lets start with high sleepers. The easiest way to describe a high sleeper bed is by saying it is risen high off the ground to ensure you get maximum usage of your floor space. A high sleeper cabin bed provides much more space than a mid sleeper bed, however since they are so high from the ground it may not be wise for younger kids.

The other main type of cabin bed is the mid sleeper cabin bed. These beds are ideal for younger youngsters as they are alot safer and closer the the ground which offer you piece of mind. A mid sleeper bed will also have tons of built in storage space, which is ideal for storing all the children junk in. Looking for mid sleeper cabin beds? Then get the best prices online at pinecabinbed.org.uk

They are practical, comfortable and cheap, what more could you ask for in a nippers bed?

There was a time when “Traffic” was something you wished to avoid.

There was a time when “Hits” was usually used as a military term.

There was a time when “Free” really meant Free, no strings attached.

There was a time when “Tons” was a unit of weight measure.

There was a time when “FFA” meant “Future Farmers of America”.

There was a time when “Private Members Club” was Tues. night poker.

There was a time when ” If You had told me I’d be doing this now” I
would’ve told you, that you were a prime candidate for the Looney Bin :-)

MP3 Music Downloads–Your Guide to Creating Personal Package

MP3 music downloads have taken the music world by storm. In 2004, legal music downloads, worldwide, increased tenfold to more than 200 million. With the ease of downloading your favorite tunes directly onto your computer and then burning your own CD, people have really accepted the MP3 format for music downloads.

MP3 music downloads work very simply. Find a site that offers MP3 music downloads–there are hundreds of sites offering free music and there are subscription sites available as well (just search the Web for your personal favorite)–scan the inventory of songs available, select the songs or albums you want, and click on it to download it to your computer.

Truthfully, why do people download music from the Internet? To hear NEW music that is not available in any other form or to listen to records that have been deleted by the big label companies and are no longer available for purchase. The primary goal is not to save $5 in the used CD bin at your local record shop, but to hear music they simply can not find any place else. And let’s face it–most people don’t want to spend $17.95 to experiment on a CD they may not like or a CD that has only one good track.

Who gets hurt by Internet downloads. Besides a very few super-stars like Celine Dion, not many. In fact most artists actually benefit. The primary way that an artist becomes famous and successful is through exposure. Without exposure, no one buys tickets to concerts, no one buys CDs, no one buys the T-shirts, beer mugs or posters. Downloading music gives an opportunity to the newcomers and those struggling to make it “big.”

While the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) sheds crocodile tears over the file-sharing programs they claim “rip off” the recording artists, the truth is, on average, a musician makes 41 cents on each CD sold. The record shops earn a couple of bucks per CD, and the greedy record companies accumulate astronomical and shameful profits.

While downloading music is easy and legal–so long as you follow all copyright laws–there are some concerns of which you should be aware. Make sure your MP3 music downloads are not filled with hidden programs that will ruin your music experience, and invade your privacy as well.

For example, spyware is nearly always present in MP3 freeware and shareware downloads. The spyware gathers information and monitors your computer activities without your knowledge. This unscrupulous use of the Internet has resulted in thousands of innocent users being victims of identity theft and fraud.

Secondly, adware (a form of unsolicited spyware that sends advertising directly to your computer) is also contained in many of these MP3 download networks. Your computer will be saturated with unwanted and intrusive ads.

Also prevalent on the MP3 networks is pornography. Be very alert to the fact that porn distributors disguise there software as the latest “free” MP3 download or game demonstration to redirect your computer to their sites.

Finally, be aware of “spoofing.” Spoofing occurs when download networks are filled with fake music files. For instance, you download what you think is a popular song, but all you get is the same ten seconds of the song over and over again.

In your search for the best downloadable MP3 sites, and to create your own music library of your personal favorites, be very selective of the sites you use. Probably the best known site is MP3.com, but there are literally hundreds of other sites such as Amazon.com, Glide Magazine, SoundShelf and ArtistGigs.com that offer free MP3 downloads.

In the pay for music subscription services, two of the best are probably EMusic and Apple’s iTunes Music Store, but again there are hundreds of other options.

By downloading your favorite songs and burning them on to CD, you can truly create your own personal library. Download away, turn up the volume, and sing along!

Sins of a Sensei

At the behest of my counselors, my parents did their damnest to keep me preoccupied. Preoccupation was essential and theraputic, when consistent. Give an ADHD’er an hour of unsupervised, unmedicated freedom and bad things happened. I was no different and in a lot of ways, worse. My impulsive actions growing up placed me in a plethora of odd, harrowing and dangerous situations that, by themselves seemed “normal” for that age but soon I realized they happened with an increasing frequency. With the burst of adrenaline associated with these situations, my mind was as clear in that moment as it would ever be. It was euphoric, enlightening and appeared to me (and still does) that I function at my coherant best when facing a “fight or flight” situation. So naturally, I put myself in these situations more and more. I did a lot of bad. Sometimes I got caught but mostly I got away with it. For that instance of adrenaline and endorphine rush, I was the smartest, fastest and coolest person on the face of this earth and I was untouchable. Or so I thought.

I wasn’t untouchable the evening I spent the night at a friends house, sometime during my 5th grade year and decided that at 3 in the morning we would take his fathers keys and drive his car around Lackland Air Force Base. Unfortunately for us we passed an MP without our lights on. He waved at us to stop but we plowed ahead, right into a large metal dumpster. We opened our doors and fled only to be caught and arrested for joyriding. We were only 10 years old. Needless to say my ass looked like that of a baboon for a few days and I was grounded until the next winter solstice.

It was clear then to my parents that I needed more than baseball and school to occupy my time. My violent outbursts at home as well as at school resulted in excessive paddling and many instances of “running away.” Typically, I would disappear for about an hour or two. Sometimes longer. Once it was for 3 months. On more than one occasion I threatened suicide and was even found (as I had planned) hanging by my neck from the clothes rack in my closet by my mother. She slapped me across the head, told me dinner was ready and I lived another day. I never seriously attempted to leave this plane but I’ve never really found it very comfortable living here either.

They enrolled me into piano lessons, arts and crafts, boyscouts, sunday school and church. I went to summer camp, winter camp, baseball camp. All to no avail. Baseball was a given. A ritual necessity for the whole family. But as in all other aspects of my life that too saw the best and worst of me. I was prone to games of brillance, followed by horrendous play. I threw bats, got into fights, was thrown out of games and even disciplined right on the field for my impulsive, angry outbursts. It was a viscious cycle of violence, followed by incredible affection (guilt perhaps). Of a heavenly peace one minute and Damian the next.

While perusing the youth center one day I stumbled across a martial arts class in progress. Not permitted to enter the dojo I sat just outside, watching the syncopated movements, the rapid strikes and kicks and the unison chants of “Ki aye”. The sensei, a portly and short man, who wore a thick beared and had piercing blue eyes, made his way in and around the class as they continued their lesson.

Mark Nichols always spoke in Japanese when speaking to his class. Discipline, it was immediately apparent to me, was the key to success as a martial artist as well as in life, as my parents tried so desparately to show me. I knew in an instant that I would be standing in the next class.

Over the next 4 yrs I would dedicate myself to Mark Nichols and the “Bushido School of the Japanese Martial Arts.” The style was Kobodo-jitsu with an emphasis on combat and weaponry. I immediately became a wiz with the nunchaku and progressed rapidly earning my green belt within 2 years. I also racked up quite a few trophies for placing in weapons kata and kumite (fighting). The pinacle came when I placed 3rd in kumite at the US Amateur Karate Championship in Houston at age 13 in my division. A few hours later I was inches from falling 13 stories from the roof top of our hotel in downtown Houston. Needing an adrenaline fix I took the elevator to the top floor and made my way to the stairs which opened up high on the rooftop of our hotel. Followed closely by an entourage of kids I made my way to the edge and looked over just as a mysterious gust of wind thrust me forward leaving me flapping my arms in reverse as fast as I could, at a 45 degrree on the ledge of the enormous hotel. Then I was pulled back by one of the assistant instructors, who was no older than I. I lay on the deck of the roof for what seemed an eternity. I thought my heart was gonna spring from my chest like “Alien”. I believe I cried for a few minutes and made my way downstairs to the safety of my hotel room. Or so I thought.

Mark Nichols took me under his wing almost immediately. We went everywhere together. He taught me about respect, discipline and self-control. He lectured me about obeying my parents. He even threatened me. He stayed in close contact with my parents and kept them abreast of my training and behavioral issues. Mom and Dad were immediately impressed and noticed a change within the first months of training. They both remember this period as some of the most peaceful and productive of my young life. I stayed in baseball and continue to relish this new peace within. I was in awe of this man who magically “cured” me from my impulsive, angry outbursts and helped me focus my energy on the positive, on the arts and on success and growth. My grades improved, I continued to progress in rank and eventually was helping the new students in the class. On report of a problem at school I would not only get a whipping at home but have to take one from Mark as well. I would bow into to the dojo only to feel Mark’s cold eyes fixed on me up until I was called to the center ring where he punched and kicked me into submission.

This happened more times than I could count. He would also have the other students/instructors punish me in similar fashion. My 6th grade school year was spent in Ft Worth with grandma but after Dad’s return from the Phillipines we moved back to Lackland and continued our life there. I was eager to continue with my training, as my parents were eager for me to resume my tempered behavior, which had become quite irrational up in cowtown during Dad’s absence. Even a heavy dose of good pentecostal discipline didn’t keep me from stirring up trouble at grandma’s house. This culminated in the worst butt-whooping up to this point when I, a sixth grader, pissed off a well-known 5th grade bully (he had 20 + lbs on me) whereby I was punched repeatedly in the face during a football game until I was bloodied and dazed. I remember well my mother standing over me, chewing me out for running my mouth and instigating the whole mess. She needn’t worry, I thought. My lips won’t move for a few days anyway for they swelled so large even Mick Jagger would be envious.

But Dad was back, Mom was happier than she’d ever been and we were heading home to San Antonio. By the eighth grade I was a brown belt. One belt away from black. It was a moment I longed for and knew it was just a matter of time. Mark Nichols continue being my “second father” and continued to impress my parents with his control over me. For a spell, when I became raucheous my folks even resorted in threatening to call Mark and tell him of my antics, which usually stopped the situation or reversed the behavior in it’s tracks. I still had my moments but they were few and far between. Achieving shodan status was the most important goal ever in my life up to that point and I wouldn’t let my erratic behavior jeopardize that.

Everything changed for me after a particular weekend outing at Canyon Lake, although I didn’t realize why until much later. Most of the class had attended this particular outing at our usual spot on the lake. Spread out in 3 cabins along the shore one night, most of the students slept. In our cabin were myself, students Dee, Chris C, Stacey C, Mark, his girlfriend and another male acquaintance. We kids were running around here and there while the adults were sitting at a table consuming large amounts of alcohol and spewing larger amounts of inappropriate sexual lingo. These conversations peaked my interests and I listened intently. I giggled at the talk of sex then proclaimed that I knew more about it than they thought, which I didn’t. No sooner did that lie fly from my lips did I find myself being walked into the back bedroom by Mark’s girlfriend. This was pretty damned exciting for a thirteen year old, I must admit. She immediately challenged my false prowess by removing her pants, then her panties, spreading her legs and slowly pushing my head into her crotch. She gave me a lesson in the fine art of oral sex although she never reciprocated. I am not sure if that pissed me off then but it sure does today. I remember tasting strawberry flavoring, like she had rubbed lip gloss or something down there before my pilgramage into the deep, dark somewhat malodorant forest.

I didn’t remember anything else that happened later that night for a full 15 + years. The pieces were filled in during a recurrent dream of sodomy some years later. That dream then became entrenched in my waking moments. Then one day, it revealed it’s first and only other character besides me. It was Mark Adair Nichols. It was Mark Nichols who entered my room later that night to sodomize me and threaten me if I told anyone. It was Mark Nichols who assured my inherently agressive nature would turn violent, but this time directed not towards inanimate objects as had been the norm but towards those I love, my friends, the innocent. I trusted no one, not even my family. I was now armed and ready. Ready to take on anyone who threatened me in any way. Fear permeated my existence. To build a wall and to stand guard just inside it was my priority now. No one will ever penetrate it’s walls ever again to get to me. Those who would try would face a violent thumping. I enterend a new world after that night on Canyon Lake. I didn’t even realize why until much later. Looking back, it was effective in keeping me safe but I also realized that while it kept the unsavory out, it also kept out those I loved and kept me locked inside a dark, unforgiving, unloving place.

From around the time this particular horror came to light, around age 27, I started carrying a 45 cal bullet with me. I would purchase the gun after determining Mark’s where-abouts. I envisioned the marking M.A.N. on the metal casing for Mark Adair Nichols. For he was no man but a sick freak who would get what’s coming to him, if only I could find him. Subsequently it was determined that Mark Nichols had raped or molested several young boys in that class. One in particular, CB appeared to have gotten the worst of it, when Mark Nichols conned his family into allowing him to stay at their place, where he repeatedly molested CB over a 2 year period.

I suppose because I immediately buried the incident in my subconscious, I stayed with the class and continued towards my black belt. Coincidentally, almost a year to the day later, I receive a “speed letter” from Sensei Nichols stating that I would soon test for my black belt and that I should start my preparations. I was witness to the indoctrination of DDP during her blackbelt testing, the thought of what she endured that day haughted me. DD was pummeled by 3 instructors for a half hour straight. Bloodied and bruised with tears flowing, not from pride mind you but from pain and humiliation, DD gracefully accepted her black belt. Now it was my turn. In hindsite I guess all Mark had on his mind was what was going through mine. Had I snitched on him? What did I remember? Did I know or understand the horrors perpetrated against me that night on Canyon Lake? I hadn’t. It was tucked safely in my subconscious but Mark didn’t know that.

In any event, Mark Nichols, DD and Sensei S. commenced to pounding me into submission. No gloves were used but the fingers were taped to prevent gouging of the eyes. And for one half hour I was beaten to a pulp until I lay on the mat crying uncontrollably and bleeding profusely. After gaining my composure, I was awarded my black belt, oblivious now of the ass whooping I just received but filled with pride at achieving such a distinct honor. I had made it. I would go forward and share my knowledge and skills with others. I would now stand side by side with the other instructors with honor, pride and a new-found discipline that would change my life for the better. Or so I thought.

Euro Lottery and Something You Might Not Recognize. How it Works, Who it Applies to plus How You Can You Encounter that Super European Lottery

The European lottery was in the first place set-up by the national lotteries of France, the UK and Spain and was unveiled in February-04. The first draw was on February 13th 2004 in Paris. The UK, France and Spain were the only nations partaking in the beginning but lotteries from Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland also got engaged on Oct-04.

The Euromillions lottery or the Euro Lottery, as it is commonly known, pools the ticket revenues of the 9 partaking Euro countries awarding a whopping European Lottery jackpot. With the sum of nations joining the Euro on the increase, that will without a doubt lead to new states participating in the Euro Millions lottery. An increase in the number of people partaking in the Euro millions lotto will lead to a lasting growth of the already big Euro Lotto jackpots.

Q. How Would You Play The Euromillions Lottery

Each participant has to select five main numbers from one to fifty and two Lucky-star numbers from 1 to 9. During the lottery draw, five primary plus two “lucky star” numbers are then selected at random from two lottery draw machines containing numbered balls.

Euro Millions Prizes

The prospects of scooping up the European Lottery jack-pot is a distant one : seventy-six million but the chances of winning a money prize is a somewhat decent one in twenty-four. When the “jackpot” is not won in a given lottery draw, it is carried over to the following lottery draw that will result in an ever increasing jackpot value. Morpheus is one of the most comprehensive file sharing appli

It works pretty much the same way like Kazaa, Napster and some other more famous counterparts. The one big difference for Morpheus, It searches other file sharing networks. It’s truly a genius design.

Now that the recording industry is striking back at a lot of the major file sharing sites, their music catalogs are not as large as they once were.

More users are turning off their file sharing options to prevent themselves from being identified, and therefore being targets of a subpoena. And the rest of the users who don’t already have file sharing turned off, are being encouraged to do it as soon as they finish downloading their songs.

In this type of climate, Morpheus is a great way to put all of the services together in one place and widen the scope of all your searches. It also helps because most people only use of the major players, but they usually won’t have two or three of them on their computer.

Another reason why this is helpful is that frankly some of the services are better at one particular type of media, but not everything. All of the Kazaa permutations are known for their access to music files. Grokster and some others are good at content files like book texts, and images etc. Morpheus can take you beyond that, and truly give you a powerful, fast search box with a comprehensive cross referenced database.

So what gets searched?

Kazaa, iMesh, Grokster, Gnutella, eDonkey, G2, Limewire and more.

They recently came out on the winning side of a lawsuit for copyright infringement so I think they are in a pretty good place right now. Of course, this doesn’t mean that you are not liable if you download copyrighted content using their service. As with their counterparts, you can get an ad supported free version, or you can go for the ad free and pop up free paid version.

If you get the free version of this or any other file sharing application, you should always have the most up to date virus protection, pop up blocking software and firewall protection. You never know what’s in those files.
